Watch the Breathtaking The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hollywood Premiere

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hogsmeade at Universal Studios Hollywood is finally officially open. To celebrate the grand opening Universal threw a start-studded event that included many cast members from the films. The main event was an incredible display of pyrotechnics and projections on Hogwarts Castle.

John Williams conducted a live orchestra as the castle came to life. Projections showing the house symbols, moments from the film and even seemingly giving a glimpse inside the castle itself. It was an incredible display that I can only hope repeats again in the future or make it's way to Orlando at some point.

‘Disney Early Morning Magic’ Officially Announced

Not too long after Disney announced their late night event that allowed guests to stay later in the park for a hefty fee, an "Early Morning Magic" event has been announced. The event will allow guests into New Fantasyland a few hours before the park opens to day guests.

Three rides will be available during the event including Peter Pan’s Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. A breakfast is also included inside Pinocchio Village Haus with your usual breakfast items. Early Morning Magic will take place on select dates, 7:45-10 a.m, starting April 26th. Tickets are $69 for adults and $59 for children ages 3-9 (plus tax).

Rumors of the event have been met with a lot of negativity. This is definitely an interesting time to be a Disney fan. With crowds at record levels and up charge events popping up weekly, only time will tell when the breaking point will be. A similar event at Epcot was tested a while back and was unsuccessful.

'Frozen' Characters Coming to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park

In a seemingly obvious move, Disney is brining some of the characters from Frozen to Blizzard Beach this summer. Olaf and Kristoff will host the "Frozen Games" in the winter themed park.

You can join "Team Kristoff" or "Team Olaf" and compete in activities like Ice Pail Relays, a Snowball Toss, Ski Pole Limbo and Slide Races. I feel like this is a precursor to giving the entire park over to Frozen. If Olaf and Kristoff can increase crowds enough I'd expect to see Anna, Elsa and Sven join the party as well.

What do you think about Frozen taking over Blizzard Beach? It would be better than it taking over Epcot, oh, right.
