We already know about the Frozen expansion coming to Tokyo DisneySea but there is more new additions coming to Tokyo Disneyland's second park. Finding Nemo and Finding Dory will be the basis for a new attraction. The as yet unnamed attraction is actually replacing an existing ride in Port Discovery. StormRider will be closed permanently in May of 2016. The existing attraction is similar to Soarin' in a theater similar to Captain EO. You can see a full video of StormRider here.
StormRider has guests flying in a futuristic aircraft through extreme weather. The Finding Nemo attraction will "shrink" guests down to the size of a clownfish and will find Marlin, Dory and the gang in the open sea. The themeing of the existing building doesn't exactly lend itself to the Pixar film's world but some story in the queue could explain that away. The new attraction is set to open in 2017.
