New Details on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Today in a Q&A Disney revealed some new details about the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coming soon to New Fantasyland. The Q&A barely had and 'A' however. That public chat seemed more like a politician dodging questions than a theme park chatting with fans.

The answers we did get were minimal but a video provided (above) showed off the first ride through of the coaster. If you notice there is a part that fades out when entering the dark ride portion. It seems as though there are still plenty of secrets yet to be revealed.

The ride will require passengers to be at least 38" tall. Kids will have something to do while they're waiting as Disney is continuing with its interactive queue initiative. The queue will have areas where guests can wash and sort the gems you'll see throughout the ride. You'll be able to enter the Dwarf's "vault" that was seen in Snow White but never shown inside.

Music in the queue will be all instrumentals. They want to give a vibe that the Dwarfs could be playing all the music. They are even using unused music from Snow White. The song "Music in your Soup" will be play in a newly recorded instrumentation.

No firm date has been set. "Spring" is the best we are going to get for now. The carts have been testing and cast member testing seems to be starting soon. Keep an eye on Park Beast and you'll know when I know.
